Below is an overview of our high availability, fully redundant and fully managed infrastructure.

Highlights:
  1. Ten (10) in-house network service providers
  2. Multi-home bandwidth with five (5) different ISPs
  3. Two (2) independent BGP (balancing traffic between providers) layers
  4. Three (3) separate physcial paths to the Internet
  5. Two (2) completely independent power grids (systems), each with its own separate power company circuit, separate UPS, and separate diesel generators

One of the nation's best connected and fastest networks, with ten (10) Tier 1 carriers being housed directly within the the data center. The network connectivity is amoung the best in the nation, second to none. Diverse fiber paths deliver redundant SONET connections directly into our Fiber POP. Included are two seperate BGP4 layers for optimal traffic balancing and redundancy between five (5) different carries directly to your server(s).
Physical security, network security, and data protection are top priority, so we have a 9 zone security system. For security reasons, we do not go into detail publicly. To highlight, it includes 24x7 manned facilities, 24x7 recorded video surveillance, scanned in security badges, data center mantrap, biometric hand scanners, and numerous layers of network security and intrusion protection. All distribute Ethernet and fiber connectivity is beneath a raised floor systems, highly preferable to overhead cable trays that leave critical communications lines exposed and vulnerable.
One of the nations largest Tier 1 fiber carriers in one location. Ten (10) different Tier 1 fiber carriers located in-house. This type of meet-me-room is ideal for companies needing direct access to specific carriers.
Most quality data centers have utility power with UPS and a backup diesel generator. It is very un-common for data centers to have fully redundant power infrastructure (grids), because of cost. Our data center is powered by true A + B power, which means each customer can be supported by independent electrical systems (grids) with independent UPS systems, independent generators, and two independent SDGE power circuits.
The raised floor HVAC systems ensures cooling is never an issue.  A complete Hot Row/Cold Row configuration, combine with hundreds of tons of cooling capacity, enables us to cool 10kW per cabinet footprint without even breaking a sweat.
San Diego’s safest and only data centers to run dual 100% water free fire suppression systems. Our data centers come equipped with dual FM200 and CO2 multi-zone fire suppression systems. There's no water in our data centers.

The HostingCity consists of 5 independent data centers in the middle of the carrier's major point-of-present.
